Get a Look at 1978 Boba Fett in Action

If you went back in time to 1978 and didn’t know that Boba Fett would blow up to be the most popular “Star Wars” character of all time, even more popular than Luke, Han, and Leia, or heck, even Chewbacca, you would have seen this very early footage of Fett’s “reveal” to the world (or to Lucas and company, anyway) and still think, “Whoa, that dude looks awesome!” Yes, even in all-white.
Check out the first time most people behind the “Star Wars” universe saw Boba Fett back in 1978. It’s the earliest shot you’ll ever see of the character, before he got slight modifications for his cinematic debut in “The Empire Strikes Back”. But everything is there from the word Go as you can see, even though he looks way too clean here, and I don’t know about the idea of Boba Fett going around with a “Star Wars” beach towel.
Now if only someone would warn him to beware of that blasted Sarlacc pit…
