First Look at the BBC’s New Series Atlantis

The dead King from “Game of Thrones” is in it, too.

Check out the rather, er, The Asylum-esque poster for the BBC’s new sci-fi series “Atlantis”, from “Misfits” creator Howard Overman, and Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps. I guess it’s sort of a comedy?

The show, set in a time of legendary heroes and mythical creatures, will star Mark Addy (“Game of Thrones”), Jemima Rooper (“One Man”), Juliet Stevenson (“The Hour”), Sarah Parish (“Hatfields & McCoys”), Robert Emms (“War Horse”), Aiysha Hart (“About Time”) and Jack Donnelly (“Dancing on the Edge”).

The show’s 13-episode first season is scheduled for fall 2013 in the U.S. and U.K.
