Vin Diesel vs. Alien Orcs in Post-Apocalyptic Soldiers of the Sun
They don’t know who they be messin’ with.
Alien orcs? Yes, alien orcs. Those are the bad guys Vin Diesel will be battling in his new movie “Soldiers of the Sun”, which you shouldn’t expect to see for a while. The guy has a ton on his plate now, so while he may have attached himself to the very cool sounding “Soldiers of the Sun” as both an actor and producer, it’ll be a while yet before this movie gets made.
So what’s it about?
Sun is set in a post-apocalyptic future and focuses on a squad of soldiers that searches for a fabled city of gold while on a tour of duty in Mexico, liberating it from an alien race known as Orcs.
Maybe he can get some help from those midget guys from “Lord of the Rings”. They’re pretty good when it comes to dealing with them Orc types.
Diesel is teaming up with Arash Amel and uber producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura (“Transformers”) on the project. But like I said, don’t expect it anytime soon. Ol Vin’s got his plate full, what with another one of those unfathomably popular car racing franchise on his schedule before anything else.
