Prometheus 2 Gets a Writer
Wait, they’re still working on this thing?
I guess $403 million worldwide gross talks. Made for around $130 million, Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” got middling reviews (I thought it was okay, but man, did it have PROBLEMS), but still went on to make quite a boatload of money. In Hollywood, boatload of money talks, and so you have a sequel in the works.
The Wrap reports that Jack Paglen, who is coming off writing Wally Pfister’s directorial debut “Transcendence”, will take a crack at the space sequel to Scott’s 2012 hit, which didn’t so much as end as it just sort of stopped.
The original “Prometheus” starred Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, and a gaggle of other actors. Only two of the castmembers will be back for the sequel, given that pretty much every died at the end of the first movie.
So wait, what was that black goo again?
