New Image of an Older, Grayer Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
He’s older, sure, but he could probably still kick your butt.
Take a look at Caesar from Matt Reeves’ “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, the sequel to 2011′s surprise hit “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. I knew that first movie was going to be a moderate hit, but I was really surprised it was THAT big of a hit. I guess moviegoers went, ahem, ape for it. Heh.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
“Dawn” stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo, Karin Konoval, and Judy Greer.
