Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis Go for a Ride in Set Pics from Jupiter Ascending
Are we sure this isn’t the sequel to “Magic Mike”?
I guess not. These are set pics from the Wachowskis’ upcoming “Jupiter Ascending” featuring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. For some reason, I thought this movie was heavily space-based, with crazy aliens flying around spaceships and whatnot. You know, like “Cloud Atlas” and “The Matrix”.
But apparently a huge chunk of it takes place on Earth, in the present day. Go figure.
Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along – her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
The flick stars Kunis and Tatum, along with Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, Douglas Booth, Doona Bae, James Darcy and James D’Arcy.
Jupiter goes for a ride on the back of a Tatum next year, July 25th, 2014.
