Zero-G the Game hasn’t even been released to the general public yet — heck, it hasn’t even been finished yet! — but that isn’t going to stop 20th Century Fox from snatching up the game’s movie rights to turn it into a movie. Hey, it sure beats Uwe Boll getting his hands on it, right? The game, created by Daniel Jevons, is currently still in development at Union, who also produced games for “The Darkness” and the upcoming “Sin City”, based on Frank Miller’s comics, and the movie of the same name.

The Hollywood Reporter has more on the game and the movie:

“Zero-G” will be based on the game created by Daniel Jevons that’s still a work in progress. It revolves around a major U.S. city being attacked by a devastating, never-before-seen weapon. The studio is eyeing the project as a tentpole.

It sucks to live on Earth nowadays. It seems we’re always being attacked by aliens are super weapons. Sheesh. Mars, anyone?
