Sean Patrick Flanery in any movie is worth picking up. I’ve been a fan of his ever since he put on the fedora for George Lucas’ short-lived TV show “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”, and continued to be one through “Suicide Kings” and the “Boondock Saints” movies (catch the sequel in theaters if you’re so inclined). Flanery’s latest is playing the bad guy in a sci-fi action movie called “Scavengers”, which will co-star Louise Linton (below) as the female lead.
The film, an indie sci-fi production, is about crews of space scavengers that compete for supplies, energy and treasure out there in the cold wastelands of space. When the crew of the Revelator, led by Emerson (Linton), comes across the alien-created Chaos Generator, they must fight to keep it out of the hands of her former shipmate, the sinister Captain Jekel (Flanery).
Ooooh. Flanery as a sinister bad guy. That I have to see.
