Wraith Of Khan Screening In Austin Just A Cloaking Device For The Real Thing
Star Trek 11 (2009) Movie, Star Trek Universe — By endymi0n on April 7, 2009
A screening for Star Trek 2: The Wraith Of Khan, in Austin Texas, at the supposedly amazing Alamo Drafthouse, turned out to be a clever ruse to actually present the first public screening of everyone’s favorite pointy earred, brow lifting, full frontal phaser epic “Star Trek”.
Leonard Nimoy himself and three of the screenwriters were there to present. The early reviews from the showing were excellent. The Danes are the happiest people on the planet. You know why? Low expectations. Unfortunately I cannot surrender to the wisdom of the Danes in this particular matter. I’m expecting synaptic overload. Thanks Twitch for raising my hopes a little higher. Will Endy leave the theatre with his spirit crushed like the tribble at the bottom of the pile? Tune in and find out.
