I am a StarGate Universe fan. I so proclaim. We fans have had our ups and downs as we circle the show, watching through splayed fingers hoping that the cheese to wicked ratio is within survivable levels. It’s been touch and go. There are some permanent emotional scars. If you are like me and are sticking to it, you’ll be intrigued about the title of an oncoming episode, number 5 of the second part of season one, called “CloverDale” written by Brad Wright, the series creator.
“Cloverfield” as you will remember, was a most excellent Sci-Fi monster movie seen from the point of view of a shaky hand held camera as normal human types run screaming, arms akimbo, from a ginormous sea creature and it’s nasty parasitic passengers. “Cloverfield” has been mentioned as inspiration for StarGate Universes hand held camera point of view.
So, are we going to get to see a dripping slime creature come splurting from a Stargate from the planet of the hairy godforsaken? Will we watch, hopelessly transfixed, as large breasted female crewmembers bounce gloriously in and around the focus of a Kino as stray claws nick accidentally at exposed bra clasps?? It could happen.
Anyway, we’ll know soon. Keep the above paragraph in your minds eye and we’ll see how close I come to the Truth. Thanks Gateworld for your kind tip.
