Warner Bros. Goes to War in World War X

I’m a sucker for time-travel stories, rather they be in movies (the “Terminator” flicks are a personal favorite) or TV (“Star Trek”, bar none, does the best time travel episodes). Can’t get enough of them. So yeah, the idea of a terrorist from the future that must be stopped by shadowy Government agents in the present sounds like a bang-up great idea. Hopefully it’ll get made.

The movie is “World War X”, and Warner Bros. has snapped up the script by Colin Trevorrow for Joel Silver and Andrew Rona to produce and develop.

The plot has a man (presumably our hero) being recruited by a team of government agents to stop a terrorist from the future who is using time travel to reshape history.

Sounds a tad like “Time Cop” with Jean-Claude Van Damme, but we’ll see how it goes as the film goes into development.
