I can’t believe Syfy’s “Warehouse 13″ has lasted for three seasons, and is entering its 4th season as we speak. Not just that, but it’s doing so as one of the cable net’s biggest hits to boot. Who saw that coming? Its fans hate it when I call the show goofy, but man, “Warehouse 13″ is goofy as hell. Still fun, though, don’t get me wrong, but man, is it goofy.
Season 4 kicks off with the Warehouse Team still reeling from the shocking events of the climactic season three finale – the loss of Agent Steve Jinks, Mrs. Frederic, H.G. Wells, and the destruction of the Warehouse itself. Their only hope lies in racing to the other side of the Earth to hunt down an obscure artifact, which may or may not even exist – and if it does exist, what consequences will they face for using it?
The Season 4 premiere, titled “A New Hope”, returns to the airwaves July 23, 2012. It features the introduction of “Star Trek: The Next Generation’s” Brent Spiner, who is doing a multi-episode arc on the show. It’s Data versus the Warehouse! (I got money on the android…)
