I can never get enough of watching pitch black.. or the 2 movie. I enjoy both of them, and for people who say the 2nd sucks … well no need to tell ya where to go..lol, but yeah i hope we get the character of Riddick once again… Can’t wait to see what they come out with what ever it is I’m watching it.. plain and simple… we need more Riddick, but maybe blogger boy is like the studios and doesn’t want to take the chance and learn a thing or to. make something new and original. study the first creations then build rather then remake. pitch black was amazing and its own movie, Chronicles satisfied my scifi action world destruction need. more. i need more.

Chronicles of Riddick is amazing Vin Diesel plays the character well Richard B. Riddick is probally one of Vin Diesels best characters this franchise is amazing it starts with Escape from Butcher Bay (where he gets his eyes) and goes to Assault on Dark Athena (where he gets his curved knives [also Butcher Bay and Dark Athena show more in depth look at Johns(The Guard from Pitch Black)] and then you got Pitch Black and Dark Fury (animated) bridges the gap between Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick if they do make a movie they should redo the games as movies the games are amazing I just beat Dark Athena today and it made me want another movie!

If you loved the movies you need to also play the games Escape from Butcher’s Bay and the one coming out now Dark Athena. I played a little of butchers bay but i got in deep enough to find out how he got his eye shine. Everything has continuity and reveals more about Riddick in the process. Dark Fury is an Animated movie and tells of what happened right after Pitch Black Finished. Dark Athena takes place right after Butchers Bay. Why they did it this way i don’t know. But everything’s connected. I’m not a great game player but just to find out more about riddick i played butchers bay. I’m gonna have to get this new game to learn even more. It keeps the waiting for a new movie managable.

The saga of Riddick is probably one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life, and trust me, i have seen almost all thats out there.
Wish the third one gets at least 3 hours long and full of Diesel’s curved knives action…Can’t wait for the sequence anymore. Got Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick on DVD’s and had to watch them both over and over again, it’s just too good….

Just got finished watching Chronicles of Riddick 1 , for like the Umptenth time, and I love this movie. It’s just so good and rich in dynamic. I like complex scifi movies. Reminds me of the times of Dune, when that movie came out it was such an epic; I doubt it would have had the same momentum if it was made simple. I hope they don’t dumb it down for the masses. I hope it remains complex, as this brings a certain intrigue and prowess, that other scifi movies lack.

Ummm, they already covered that in the Xbox game “Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay”.
