This show suffered the same CRUEL fate that Bionic Woman did. ATTENTION HOLLYWOOD: Write original or give our past vices some GD respect already.

Bionic Woman gives us the Daredevil-eaque fight in the FIRST EPISODE?

Knight Rider gives us - nothing of redeemable social value?

I would have rather watched the WORST flashback episode of the original than watch any of what I saw during this "premiere."

Shame, recreators, shame!

Using a Mustang was the worst thing to do. Why is that? They should of used the new 2007-2008 Dodge Charger, now that would of kicked ass!!!!

I was looking for Deanna Russo's age as well. No dice. On another note, the pilot episode didn't feature many abilities of KITT, but my guess is that they will expand on the abilities in future episodes. If you do eventually come upon her age, it would be great if you could share.

I really wish that the original sequel to Knight Rider had made it (Knight Rider 2000). It had William Daniels doing the wise-cracking voice of KITT- even though he was in the KIFT body...(still a Pontiac, not the Ford models from the FAIL of Team Knight Rider) Anyway... The pilot wasn't bad- however I miss KITT's sarcastic humor that was so prevalent in the 80's original. In the same breath, however, let's give the new team a chance. Who knows, this might work- if the new KITT stops acting like a bad version of a Vulcan from Star Trek...

i was very disapointed with the new knight rider i waited twenty five years for knight rider return the 80,s k.I.T.T cool he had humor he was not as cold and calculated as a cylon as this KITT also the ford mustang was a bad choice they should have stuck with a transam even the 1982 modle could have suffice with a 2008 make over i am sure that that what every knight rider fan liked about the car made the show they said that it a continueation they should have gotton some one to immitate the original william daniel voice story line needed some meat and a mean villian worthy of battle with KITT.

Like any new show it may take more then the first episode to find it's footing. With the writer strike over hopefull they have had time to brain storm some new ideas.

Let give this show a chance.

We may yet see turbo boost. Remeber they don't have as many cars to smash this time.

6 minutes of content followed by 2 minutes of commercials, lather, rinse, repeat. Endlessly. By my math, that equates to about 90 minutes of content, only 10-15 or so which was anything other than boring and dull. The script was a horribly predictable, badly written schlock fest that would have been more at home in the 1980's than the modern age. There was nothing new in the formula, and it was obvious that the writer(s) who produced it was/were on strike or were crossing the picket lines to produce this garbage. The director coaxed an over-acted, boorish performance out of everyone, including Val Kilmer, who was not even on screen but still not immune to the bad direction.

I was horribly dissapointed. I was hoping for a modern update to an old favorite show, with some real plot twists that didn't telegraph themselves a mile away and an hour before, not a tired regrinding of the same old fat sausage and greasy hamburger that Hollyweird was turning out by the garbage-truck-full back in the day. I mean, come on - was any body surprised when the inventor turned up alive? Or that Michael Knight would convince the next generation that it was a good idea to get on board by saying something suitably philosophical, wise, and vomit-inspiring?

Fire the writers, slap the producers, treat the pilot like Highlander 2 (it never happened - lather, rinse, repeat - endlessly), and have someone who knows how to play chess put together some real, interesting plot twists that actually land a punch, not give us a chance to duck under and then laugh when the aging, overweight pugilist falls flat on his face.
