Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Game Trailers

Let’s face it, games based on Hollywood movies have always been iffy at best. When they’re based on a summer event film, the chances of finding a good one in the bunch are pretty slim. Every now and then you stumble across one worth playing. For instance, I thought the first “Riddick” game was very well done, although the less said about all those games based on Marvel’s recent comic book movies, the better.

When the first “Transformers” movie came out, there was also an accompanying game, so as the sequel is scheduled to come out, it, too, has its own game ready to roll. Check out the trailers for it below and decide for yourself if this is worth buying.

Transforming cars are just too cool to past up, don’t you think? Even if the gameplay isn’t quite up to snuff, you can’t help but feel a little giddy driving around and just transforming for no apparently reason. At least, that was the only fun part of playing the first game for me. Try it out on a PS3, and the graphics alone should be worth the price.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” the movie is due out June 24. The game version arrives a day early on June 23.
