Yes, that’s right. We’re so psyched for Michael Bay’s “Transformers 2″ that we’re even posting casting calls looking for people with SAG membership and who can pass for college co-eds. What, you got something better to do with your time? Here’s the casting call sheet with descriptions of what they’re looking for. Apparently “party pictures holding a beer” is not welcome. What’s that about?

TRANSFORMERS 2 in Philadelphia!
We are looking for SAG background talent for the new Dreamworks feature film, “Transformers 2″, directed by Michael Bay.Needed are SAG background men and women, ages 18-65, all ethnicities, for scenes to shoot in the Philadelphia, PA and Princeton, NJ areas. Shooting will take place in June 2008.
We especially need college-age talent for this project.

Heh. I love the “No party pictures holding a beer” line. Seriously, what kind of people are sending in their pictures to them, who thinks sending in a picture of you holding a beer will be a great way to get into a movie?
This, no doubt, is to fill out the extras for those college campus scenes with Sam Witwicky, who has gone on to Princeton in the sequel.
