As soon as Lana (Kristin Kreuk) and Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) left the show, it really went downhill in season 8. This is not to insult the new actors (Casidy Freeman) and some of the old actors were not very exciting either (Whitney Ford, Sam Jones III, etc). I really hope season 9 is worth watching especially as the final season.<br><br>I'm interested in a proposed "Metropolis" show or movie. And it would be nice if we could at least have Lana and Lex in the "series finale" at the end of season 9. I would like anyone to tell me why they think season 8 was better than season 7?
