Hey, look, the Wachowskis are finally back with a new movie! It’s called “Cloud Atlas”, a hell of an ambitious looking project that goes back in time and forward into the future and stars Tom Hanks and Halle Berry and a bunch of other people, but from the looks of it, a lot of Hanks and Berry. Take a look at the trailer, take a lookers.
An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.
The big ol cast includes the aforementioned Hanks and Berry, as well as Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Ben Whishaw, Keith David, Jim Broadbent, James D’Arcy, Götz Otto, Zhu Zhu, Doona Bae, Xun Zhou, David Gyasi.

The Wachowskis co-directed the movie with German filmmaker Tom Tykwer, who is pretty famous himself. Well, to people who watch things other than comic book movies and romcoms, I mean.
