I hope they can stay true to the story. japan just launched live action version of Space Cruiser Yamato (Star Blazers) in dec 2010. if my two favourite animes are both live action I will be in heaven and could die happy. I will see them both no matter what type of negative reviews they might get. i will need to see for myself if they screwed things up. Let us hope not. As for Maguire starring in the Robotech Live Action, I am sorry, He is a good actor but,....If he screws it up he is going to hell. It is that simple.
