How could anyone else play Khan? Ricardo Montalban was outstanding. NO ONE can do it.

Four words: Enterprise versus Cloverfield Planet!lol Ok, just felt like saying that.

I for one, one day in the future, would love to see a movie that pits all the greatest Sci-Fi franchises together in a massive clash of the titans display. Picture the Enterprise approaching the Death Star. Vader vs. Kirk. Q vs. Yoda. What would win in a fight, the Defiant or the Millenium Falcon? Throw in Aliens, Predators, Terminators, Transformers, the whole sha-bang! Have them all on a quest to find out where all of this came from and began, to the center of the universe where they find out that the creator is a guy named Larry sitting in a rundown lab, in his whitey tighty underwear, too small wife beater shirt, about 80 pounds over weight, eating pizza and drinking beer. When they ask him why are we here, he responds with a belch and says, "Pfffffffffft, beats me, they just tell me to press this button. Oooooooooh, doughnuts. NOM, NOM, NOM, NOM, NOM...."

TNG actually did a more serious take on this when they had the Enterprise as part of a quest with Kardasians (not Kim), Klingons, Romulans and such to find an extinct race through an artifact that told them their origins. Hey, it's food for thought???

As for Star Trek 2, er 12, it's arrogant presumption to believe Khan will even be in the next Trek and I agree with another poster, it's just a comparison. Abrams and company will come up with something unique for sure, just like with the first film that finally brought Star Trek up to par with Star Wars (which Abrams is a huge fan of). But if Khan showed up I would be stoked! Let's just wait and see. Live long and prosper and may the force be with you.

I think it is reasonable to assume that if Khan were the villain in the sequel, the story would be more like Space Seed, not the Wrath of Khan.

When making a remake you have to use old villains, plus Ras Al Ghul and Scarecroww in batman were reused comic book villains. Learn about what you post, before you piss off the fans.

IT IS NOT KHAN, Bob Orci said that he does not want Khan and will not include Khan in the sequel. It will most likely be Gary Mitchell or the Gorn.
