The Moon Gets A Release Date
Moon (2009) Movie, Sci-Fi Images, Sci-Fi Movie News — By endymi0n on March 2, 2009 |
“The Moon”, a film starring Sam Rockwell and recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, has received a June 12th release date, smack dab in the heart of the big summer blockbusters. A vote of considerable confidence.
This movie will be a winner. Watching the previews from this one reminds me very much of the great classic Sci-Fi Silent Running. Thanks to Collider for the news on this.

Why is this movie not playing anywhere closer than NY within a 200 mile radius of where I am? I would love to see this film and I really wish it were somewhere closer. My friend says that sometimes movies are available On Demand the day they are released to theatres. I think he is full of shit. I would rather see it in a theatre anyways.
Except I would prefer a theatre that had adjustable armrests because it is more comfortable to put up armrests and sprawl a bit.
Okay I just found out that the film was only released to NY & LA today and a week from now, on June 19th, it will be totally released to everywhere else.
“That’s lame…Do you wanna go see it next Friday?”
“mhmm”
“Thought so.”
