Well, it’s a good one, but let’s hope this trailer is the last we see before all us Zombie lovers dutifully flock down to the local Cinema to see Abigail Breslin, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Amber Heard join together to creatively diminish the larger Zombie population in “Zombieland”.
We’ve seen the slow and shambling Zombie, which can really only do damage in large numbers and only if you foolishly barricade yourself in a farmhouse or Mall. We’ve seen the fast Zombie, which is a tricky kind of creature if you’re not paying attention. All these are the dead, re-animated style of Zombie. We then have the viral Zombie and these guys are the worst. The viral Zombies are fast and don’t have to kill you, just leak on you, to make everyday for you a permanent bummer.
All these creatures are stupid. My next prediction for the evolution of the cinematic Zombie is the intelligent, viral, or undead Zombie. This species will be fast, leaky and due to whatever spewdiferious goo animates these hairy hoards of mayhem, able to now cunningly stalk and organize their human hunting. Of course, when the goo leaks on you, or you get bitten, the goo first terminates whatever love you might have had for your fellow species members. You’ll chew on your neighbor fella and you’ll like it.
