The Cast Is Set For Battle: Los Angeles

Principal photography is about to get underway in Shreveport Louisiana on the Sci-Fi alien invasion epic “Battle: Los Angeles” and it seems they have a full cast! Let us rejoice. Ne-Yo, Ramon Rodriguez, Taylor Handley, Cory Hardrict, Jadin Gould, Bryce Cass and Joey King are now alongside previously named recruits Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pena.

Ne-Yo plays a corporal in the platoon. Rodriguez, Handley and Hardrict are members of the platoon fighting the invading aliens. Cass, Gould and King are kids trapped in a community center. (Description from ComingSoon)

Battle: Los Angeles tells the hopeless story of a marine (Aaron Eckhart) who must fight an alien force bent on the utter smushing of mankind or at least people living in Los Angeles. Michelle Rodriquez is in it so expect some extra ass kicking with some sassy banter. It’s all for the glory of Columbia Pictures. Battle: Los Angeles will impact theatres in Feb 2011.
