Best review I have read yet...

Another things that is wrong with this film, if there is anything to add to this great review, is that the writers seem to borrow from other movies a bit too much.

- The Skynet tower felt a bit too much like a futuristic version of "Lord of the Rings: Two Towers" Isengard.
- The two children in L.A. reminded me too much of Will Smith setting up vampire traps in "I Am Legend."
- The heavy reliance on gas hog vehicles and an absolute abundance of gasoline in an apocalyptic world brings MadMax to mind.
- The typical degenerate guys trying to rape a good looking girl in an apocalyptic world, and she being rescued by the hero has been done far too many times.
- The aircraft dodge fight scenes brought clear memories of "Independence Day."
- The submarine set did not feel quite like a submarine set; it reminded me more of an old pirate movie.
- The hero requesting fellow soldiers not to carry out their orders has been done to many times too. "Outbreak" and "Crimson Tide" are just two examples.

Now, a heart transplant conducted in a field hospital, without the proper medications or equipment, performed by a pregnant veterinarian without confirming if the donor is a match, is a brand new and original concept.
