Our first look Master of Disaster Roland Emmerich’s new disaster film, “2012″, has arrived online. It’s a short teaser, just barely over a minute long, featuring what appears to be a monk racing up a long slope of mountains to a temple, and then looking out at — egads, an ocean towering over said mountains! (I’m guessing oceans aren’t supposed to get this high?) The ocean wipes away the temple, while titlecards ask us what our governments would do in the face of an impending, world-ending natural disaster. It then answers itself: Nothing. Because, you know, governments suck and such. Anyways, enjoy the teaser.
Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.
It looks like another CGI-heavy disaster movie from Roland Emmerich. Should be good, clean, a billion people die fun!

This movie is coming out in perfect time with everything happening, I look forward to it’s release and the movies trailer looks stunning! Definately another one to add to the dvd library in time. :)

I am not buying any of this media induced frenzy, I actually like the funnier side of this frenzy, sites like Geddon Gear (http://www.geddongear.com). With the myriad of apocalypse sites attempting to prey on fears and sell products and services that legitimize the media hype around the earth’s impending doom, it is refreshing to see sites of this nature which take a slightly different approach.
to john, you dont have to buy it. but if tis true, dont blame us or the people who try to warn you, cause i dont wanna hear non of this bullshit going around saying “oh i didnt notice” blah blah blah. all of you people shouldn’t take blame at us now, now that its showing us what will happen, all you people dont neeed to buy it, it all depends weither ur ready or not, if not, enjoy ur 4 or 3 years. cus the end is near….

This event will be occurring soon but before 2011. This movie is a great awakening for all humanity on earth.
