SyFy Orders Second Season of Warehouse 13

The SyFy Channel is so pleased with the performance of Warehouse 13 that they have already ordered a second season. Ratings for the show have been that good, and is apparently growing with each new episode.

According to THR’s Live Feed, Warehouse 13 currently averages 4 million viewers per episode when DVR totals are added to the total viewership (no surprise, I DVR the show myself). That’s enough to make Warehouse 13 potentially the most-watched first season on the SyFy Channel.

Warehouse 13, for those unfamiliar with the show, is an X-Files-ish show about two government agents who work for the titular mysterious warehouse. Their job is to hunt down and retrieve (or destroy if they can’t) supernatural and dangerous “artifacts”, which invariably turns out to be cursed items from history.

The show, which has aired 7 episodes so far, co-stars Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly as the bickering but loveable agents, Saul Rubinek as their warehouse boss, lovely ladies Genelle Williams and Allison Scagliotti, and CCH Pounder as their mysterious overlord.
