Stephen King’s Colorado Kid Under Assembly

A pile of writers, Scott Shepherd, Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn, former vets of King’s “Dead Zone” series are hard at work at 13 episodes of “Haven”, an adaptation of Mr. King’s “Colorado Kid” novella.

“Haven” follows another crazy Maine town that houses folks with curses and the woman sent to keep the cursed under wraps when the damned begin to unravel. E1, the studio behind “Hung” is behind the effort. The Colorado Kid is one Stephen King work that I haven’t read but wikipedia doesn’t seem to agree with Haven’s premise at all. I’ll have to dig the “Kid” up and give it a look. Thanks Variety.
