Stargate Universe’s Final 10 Episodes Begin with Deliverance

Nix March 2, 2011

If you’re a fan of Syfy’s “Stargate: Universe” you’re probably licking your wounds right now. The show is set to air its final 10 episodes before cancellation, kicking off with next week’s “Deliverance”. Here’s a sneak peek clip from the upcoming episode.

Dr. Rush checks on the team as they try to run a bypass through a section of the Destiny to boost power. Slow and steady seemed to be the right road until they pushed a little too far and the plan backfires. The team tries to assure Rush that it’s just going to take more time.

“Deliverance” airs next week, Monday, at 10/9c.

I’d like to see it end like this…”whats this button do?” click BOOOM!

To be fair, while the show was horrible, some characters/actors were great, I talk here about Rush, Eli and Chloe and/or their actors. I hope to see Atlantis restored (or see a proper real, new Stargate series) and have these characters transferred to there.

The problem is that ths show is boring. It needs more adventure, action, real nasty enemies and then, in the midst of that, we start caring about the characters and you can get into the character development and the exploration of what it is to be human. Without the fun, it’s just watching people stare into their navels.

i keep losing the thread of the story when i`m watching it, then i find i dont care anyway lol. its like they`re making complex yet boring nonsense. a bit strange for McKay to be in the recent episode, atlantis was light hearted, universe isnt, i do agree rush was a good character, especially when he was going mad at people “i`ll see you jimmy!” :p lol
