I really like your look on this Inner_geek! it really does make since. My friends and i were talking about the length of dresses over time and the length of hair.. they got shorter and shorter.. but now its excepted!

While I have no problems with this soap opera approach, I dont see how it adds much value to the show. To be honest though, Sci-Fi has always been a great way of approaching “taboo” issues without causing a significant social stir. Look at how Star Trek approached racial issues in its time. In todays age though, Sci-Fi has become more main stream, everyone has an inner geek, even the born-agains. So it is understandable that people do feel insulted when issues they see as “immoral” are introduced as totally acceptible.

It’s such a shame the Stargate franchise is being lead in this direction, as it does not enrich the plot for me. I stopped watching after the initial lesbian scene. It’s my right to choose not to watch this show based on this alone. It is my right to share my opinion, with friends in private and here publicly. It is my right to believe it is wrong and that I also do not want my children exposed to it. You may “SHAME ON YOU” all you like. These are my rights, my values and my beliefs and I am entitled to them!
