When Atlantis first started it was similar situation (lost, far from home, no power, blah blah) but they weren't anywhere near as defeatist as this bunch of idiots. They just need to take group suicide pills and get it over with.

I feel the storylines are lame and 'stretched out' to try and build characters (who I really don't care about for the reasons above), I saw how 'Light' was going to end from the pan up shot as Destiny dropped out of FTL in 'Darkness'.. Even my 13 year old said “I bet theyre going to recharge power using that sun”.

ANY reasonably intelligent cast character (there are supposed to be at least 2 geniuses aboard) would have figured that out too! Even if Rush didn't let on, Eli, the big geek should have got a clue.

So far, my interest is waning not improving, even though there's nothing else on Friday, they need to smarten up the writing, and definitely brighten up the characters, I always liked the smart “quirky optimism against all the odds” of Atlantis and SG1.
