Denial all over, sad that someone would place BSG at a grade D when it really is a grade A show, no doubt about that. The SG shows are great as well. To be honest, grade B is a perfect place of the SG shows. With SGU, I expect an upgrade to grade A soon unless the next SG-1 season pulls out some big stops.

Come on, D-class show? BSG did what no other science fiction series has done, that I can recall, and that is to bring a definite sense of realism to science fiction. I from time to time watched SG shows, and was immediately turned off by the sometimes awful jokes and puns, predictable plots, and general tedium. Only when the revisited arcing storylines did the shows become interesting. I think the networks have all learned by now that arcing storylines are what draw fans and boost popularity (STNG: Borg, etc, etc).

It's plain to see SG production lacked in comparison to BSG. Are you seriously refuting that?

Now this show, I admit, seems like a stretch. I don't imagine they will be able to come up with original storylines after the first 10 episodes. What's on the docket today? Today we will explore the WEST half of the ship! Oh goodie!

Um, that's kinda insulting talking about the other Stargate franchises as B grade affairs. SG-1 (well, not the last 2 seasons) was much better than BSG ever hoped to be.
