While everyone is eagerly anticipating the latest Stargate series to appear on the airwaves, MGM Home Entertainment has decided to release a “Final Cut” version of the original Stargate TV show’s first episode, the two-parter “Children of the Gods”, scheduled for July 21, 2009. For those who have seen the show, “Children of the Gods” re-introduces the main characters from the “Stargate” theatrical movie, but now played by their TV counterparts, led by Richard Dean Anderson, and took place after the events of the movie.
