I started watching Stargate what I would call recently, considering all the year long fans… about a year ago. I remember the first time I ever, EVER watched Stargate… a short segment from the original movie. I wasn’t into it. Perhaps I was too young to understand it’s subtleties. However, after watching about half of a Stargate Atlantis episode, I decided to watch another. I stumbled onto SG1, and then I became HOOKED, like this-fish-ain’t-gonna-get-away hooked. I loved it, and the more I watched the more I loved it. I, being a Christian, am slightly offended by the Ori and the Go’auld, but hey, that’s life. But this is about Continuum, right?
Continuum, I have to say, was OK. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. The directing was awsome but there was no real… tension, except when Ba’allyBoy is being killed by Qetesh. Other than that, it was completely predictable. Sorry. Didn’t love it. I like the regular episodes better.

Not bad. but how does Browder get from 1939 to today at the end of the film or does he luckily find a handy stasis machine to while away the time in.

I absolutely loved “Stargate Continuum!” The writers and actors did a wonderful job bringing the true essence of SG1 to the screen. I can’t wait to see the next Stargate movie.

Personally I hope we’re gonna see another SG-1 movies in the future. I dont care fo Atlantis and I really hope MGM/Fox realize that there are people who are hungry for more Vala/Qetesh & company adventures.

I was bitterly dissapointed in this film as an obsessed lover of Stargate I really wanted to love it, but sadly, no. I will still buy it on DVD because I must have all things Stargate but to watch again – not sure.
