Star Wars TV Series In Casting

I have mixed feelings about this. I love my Star Wars. I do indeed. I once blew a promising romance with a lovely blond girl by forcing her to stand in line with me for 8 hours for the Empire Strikes Back. It was playing at only one theatre where I lived. I made the ultimate sacrifice.

And so I feel entitled to moan a bit at what has happened to my beloved Wookiees and Jedi’s in the years since. I think Mr. Lucas has lost his footing a bit. Just a bit. Apparently, the live action series will be gritty and feature a storyline where apparently the Sopranos meets the potty mouthed residents of Deadwood, with lightsabers hopefully.

Sounds promising. It looks like George will not be writing the scripts. Mr. Lucas is a master class world builder but he is unfortunately not as talented in the writing dept. I remain hopeful, as the Force requires. Via Slashfilm.
