From Marketsaw comes several new shots of the blue skinned Na’vi. Nice closeups here. Very real looking creatures. Of particular note is Sigourney Weaver alongside her Avatar, which looks interestingly very much like her.

The Na'vi in these pictures look so awesome! I love Sigourney's one especially…no wait, I can't decide which I like best… Wow December cannot come soon enough.
Cameron waited 10 years for the technology to catch up and it's not much better than a kids video game.
Cameron promised ultra realistic characters. I wasn't fooled for a second in believing these were nothing more than another cgi aliens. Disappointing.
As far as story, a million spaceships shooting at each other, a typical rendition of a sci fi world and aliens with pointed ears. Maybe another 10 years.
the cgi is pretty…. but it still looks like cgi. kinda disappointing when compared to district 9. the aliens from district 9 blended into the scene much better than the cgi na'vi.
It looks like an elf in world of warcraft but the question is how good the storyline is. Maybe it need some polishing to please viewers.
