Smallville Clip: The Birth of Metallo

We all know Metallo is coming, and this week’s Friday episode of Smallville will officially introduce the Superman villain to the TV world. Brian Austin Green, formerly of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, will be playing reporter John Corben who becomes Metallo. Here’s a clip featuring, essentially, the “birth” of Metallo.

Smallville continues its 9th season with the episode “Metallo” this Friday, October 2nd on the CW.

BTW: How ironic is it that BAG played a futuristic freedom fighter battling cyborg machines in The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but now he’s essentially playing a cyborg in Smallville? Ah, inspired casting.
