Slick Teaser Trailer for the Sci-Fi Action Web Series Drone

Big time movie director Justin Lin is also a member of the awesomely named YOM YOMF network, aka You Offend Me You Offend My Family. I’ve seen some of their videos, and they were always comedies. I really didn’t know they were branching out into serious sci-fi action, which they seem to be doing with the new web series “Drone”. Take a gander at the teaser trailer for “Drone” below. Pretty slick, huh?
DR0NE is based in the near future where war drone technology has advanced, and a new weapon has been unleashed – a humanoid drone stronger and faster than any solider. But, in the aftermath of a mysterious incident, a damaged battle drone goes on the run with its programmer to take down a corrupt commander. DR0NE is directed by Robert Glickert, and also stars Kenneth Choi (“Captain America: First Avenger”)
The Sci-Fi/Action web series DR0NE is helmed by creator/director Robert Glickert, for YOMYOMF Network. DR0NE is produced by Clark Baker and Robert Glickert, co-produced by Lance Reddick and Steven Adams, and Justin Lin serves as executive producer.
The first episode will premiere on Thursday, August 30th at 8 p.m on the YOMYOMF YouTube Channel.
