This would also be a good idea for the Hyperion saga. Nowadays all the talent and creativity seems to be in television rather than the movie world. I'm thinking about "sopranos", "true blood", "dexter" and many other tv shows that prove that taking your time to tell a compelling story instead off rushing everything into a two or three hour movie (and covering up the plot holes with explosions and cgi special effects), is much more appreciated be the modern public.
