I protest you saying The Sarah Connor Chronicles show made an effort but fell short. The show had it all but Fox buried it on Friday. When they promoted it at all, they aimed it mostly at people who go out on Friday night when a much wider audience would have enjoyed it if they had known it wasn't all explosions and t&a.
Lena Headey really brought it to the role of Sarah Connor in the second season.

Yeah, I agree that River should be on the list. I know Firefly and Serenity are cult classics without the mainstream punch of the other movies/series represented in the list, but River was hell on wheels once she let loose.

I uess I can broadly agree with these. Possibly I would leave Princess Leia out. Ripleyy definitely stays on.

I might be tempted to include one or two of the female heroes in my own recently published science fiction book.
