Sci-Fi Trailer: The Rock in Planet 51

You have Jessica Biel in a movie and it’s just her voice? What a waste. Oh well, at least there are some funny bits in this first trailer for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s latest kiddie movie, the CG flick “Planet 51″. The movie sees Johnson playing an astronaut who lands on an alien planet. It’s basically a 1950s comedy, except we’re the aliens and the aliens are us. Get it? Anyways, first trailer for the film below.

The inhabitants of Planet 51 live in fear of alien invasion. Their paranoia is realized when an astronaut arrives from Earth. Befriended by a young resident, he has to avoid capture in order to recover his spaceship and try to return home.

Starring the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, John Cleese, and Rupert Degas. Directed by the trio of Jorge Blanco, Javier Abad, and Marcos Martinez.

The invasion begins November 20.
