Sci-fi Casting: Gary Oldman in Dawn, Juliette Binoche in Godzilla

Up first, Gary Oldman has been cast in Matt Reeves’ “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, the sequel to 2011′s “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” reboot of the “Apes” franchise. He joins previously cast Jason Clarke and that kid from “The Road”.
Oldman will play Dreyfus, the leader of the human rebellion, now that those damn dirty talking apes have taken over the planet. Or just about.
Over at Godzilla land, Juliette Binoche is said to be in talks to join the cast of Gareth Edwards’ “Godzilla”. No idea what character she’ll play in the movie, but then again, no one knows who will be playing what in this movie, it’s all secret and whatnot. Let’s just hope the movie is more than two monsters having sex over a gas station at night.
