It seems like it’s taken ages for it to finally make it to the big screen again — I guess you can say, it’s been, ahem, running in quicksand all this time — but that “Logan’s Run” remake from Warner Bros. has finally found sure footing. (See what I did there?)
After losing one director after another, the remake has finally landed an honest to goodness, signed on the dotted line director, along with a star in Ryan Gosling. The actor will be re-teaming with Nicolas Winding Refn, who last directed him in the heist flick “Drive”, on the reboot for the WB.
The duo will be working from a script by “Sunshine’s” Alex Garland, who is also the writer on the “Judge Dredd” reboot.
