ANYTIME you have to do a COMPLETE rewrite, it means the original script SUCKED...BAD! They don't have any ORIGINAL IDEAS, they're trying to figure out how to rape Carpenters. This is getting a rewrite by the guy who did the REMAKE of “Nightmare on Elm Street” which we all know became an INSTANT CLASSIC due to it’s reverence of the source material.
