Rockne S. O’Bannon Might Have a New Show on the SyFy Channel

I wouldn’t hold your breath for new ‘Farscape’. Please see my article I posted last year by typing in Google: Farscape webisodes bucket of dren. Look for the comment under Scorpious and read it through.You will see how Rockne and Browder have little regard for the fan’s true feelings! I own the complete 4 series and the Peacekeeper wars so believe me, I am a big fan. As I say read the article and make up your own mind. What I will add is that last year Rockne posted a comment on his Twitter page that he ‘had a meeting with Brian Henson the other day. Big moves are happening’. Since that comment nothing else has been posted. Now I’m sorry if you’re going to come out with a comment like that, then as fellow ‘scapers you’re immediately thinking ah yes finally it looks like the Farscape webisodes are on the move again. But no, nothing! It’s like listening to a politician promising this and that and delivering nothing. One thing in Brian Henson’s favour I will add is that he hoped that if the webisodes got made it would lead to a revival of the show, which would be fantastic as, after all, what is the point of having 10 webisodes running at 3 to 6 mins long, and then saying that’s your lot! Pointless. Look at Sanctuary starring Amanda Tapping. It started as webisodes and is now a series…. I just hope they put this whole issue to bed and annouce either yes they are going to do these webisodes or not and stop messing the true fans around by giving them false hope. After all the comics were supposed to tie-in to these webisodes. The cynic in me just thinks it’s ploy to get people to buy the comics and the box sets when they in truth really had no intention of carrying out their promise of these new webisodes. What do other ‘scapers think? I would love to hear as I am United Kingdom fan and I think the more comments from around the world, the better chance we have of finally getting a definative answer and maybe, just maybe, the annoucement we are all waiting for…..
