Robert Rodriguez’s Futuristic Thriller Nerverackers

Hollywood rumors already has Robert Rodriguez eyeing a potential reboot of a sci-fi classic, the “Predator” movies, but those were just rumors. What isn’t a rumor is that Rodriguez has signed on to write and direct a futuristic thriller called “Nerverackers” for Dimensions films, with a release date of April 16, 2010 already penciled in.

According to Variety, “Nerverackers” will be set in the year 2085, and will center on a character named Joe Tezca who is part of an elite unit dispatched to quell a crime wave in a theoretically perfect future society.

Not all that perfect of a society, apparently.

Still no word about that “Predator” reboot, though, official or otherwise…
