Revolution Gets Full First Season Order

Good news, fans of “Revolution”, the Eric Kripke show has been given a full first season pick-up by NBC, thanks to some strong ratings that handed the network its first win among the all-important 18-49 demographics in years. Two other shows were also given full season pick-ups, but who cares about those two, am I right?

Says NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke about guaranteeing “Revolution” a full season’s worth of episodes:

We’re impressed with the imagination and creative direction of the entire team on ‘Revolution,’ not to mention the immediately strong response we got from the audience. And I personally love to escape into a world where there is no power, the phone doesn’t ring, and the pace of life slows down—if only for one hour a week!

You and me both, sister.

I have a certain ability to disbelieve, unlike the writer of this article, however this show is just crap. There are no steam locomotives, there apparently are no bicycles after 15 years either. These are not “electronic” things. The director and producer of this show do not have a clue about the number of rifles, pistols and the ability of many of these owners to Self reload there ammunition. Where is the real military? 15 years and “the militia” rises to become a tyrannical militocracy? Oh come on, I can believe the Federal Gov’t would fall, I think we would all be relived about that finally happening, Flintlock muskets beside a nickle plated .44 magnum and a .38 snub nose revolver… uh huh, And the bullets are rare as diamonds…. BS dude, this show is appealing to idiots who don’t have a clue, and when we learn em about the realities, they should feel ashamed of themselves for thinking this was a good show, it isn’t, the writing is lame and sophomoric at best, the characters are, well thin, and that’s the nicest thing I can say about the writing. I expect we will get the same ending for this as in lost, “they are all just dead and they don’t know it”.

It sounds like you want a Documentary on something that HAS NOT HAPPENED. Being the Realist that
you are, HOW COULD THAT BE POSSIBLE ? Hmmmm ?
