If you want to see a much more enjoyable adaptation of this story, try “Repo: the Genetic Opera” with Anthony Steward Head. It’s an unashamedly dark and campy musical with excellent songs and stunning visuals.

personally i think the movie was pretty crappy…the fact that these “repo men” can just go around killing people cause they cant afford their bills lol is a little laughable…i dont know what the future holds for us, but im pretty sure going around killing numerous people cause they cant afford to pay 600K for a new liver is a little over the top…i understand signing the papers and deciding to try and pay for whatever replacement is needed, because well without it your going to die…but they dont exactly explain that when you are a little late paying your monthy bill, a repo man is going to show up at your door…shoot you in the chest with a dart to knock you out then proceed to cut you open rip out whatever organ you purchased and leave you there to die on the floor…now it might just be me, but i think thats a little outragous, even for a blood sucking corporation…for some reason i just dont see the american people really allowing this type of business. i mean in one scene you see a boat filled with people scared shitless to even go outside due to a repo man slicing his/her heart out…being slaughtered one after another simply because they are behind on their bills lol…yea im not joking either, like i said a tad over the top…but hey Jude Law kicks ass!

I don’t know about anyone else but I rather liked this movie though I did have a slight disappoint about the very end of it. I was thinking why didn’t they have the hero helped by the Underground Community of People opposed to the system and get him out of that damn Matrix machine he was hooked up to and placed back into real life to continue the fight? Okay maybe they’ll have a sequel which explains why that didn’t happen or about those people or else he died and someone he knew found out what happened to him deciding to get revenge THAT’S JUST A THOUGHT FOR A STORY TO CONTINUE FROM! Okay it didn’t do so well at the box office than again who knew it had even come out! I sure didn’t know it was at the theater until the last day of showing in my area nothing was advertised! If anyone is reading this I just thought I’d offer my opinion so please no insults okay!
