Race to Witch Mountain Poster, Trailer

Go figure. I didn’t even know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s latest movie, “Race to Witch Mountain” was even a sci-fi movie, which is why I never bothered covering it. (Sounds like a kiddie action movie to me when I first heard it. Well, it kinda is that, but then some.) Here’s the poster and trailer for the movie, about two kids who turn out to be aliens, and are being pursued by the authorities. They get him from The Rock when they jump into his taxi.

The official plot goes something like this:

A UFO expert enlists the help of a cabbie to protect two siblings with paranormal powers from the clutches of an organization that wants to use the kids for their nefarious plans.

The trailer actually spells it out for you: the two kids are aliens trying to get back to their ship, which is on the titular Witch Mountain, and stop an impending alien invasion. So, you know, they’re the good guys.

The race gets started March 13, 2009.
