Day One TV Series, Sci-Fi TV News, Sci-Fi Videos — By endymi0n on May 4, 2009We have it directly from NBC that “Day One”, an excellent sounding post apocalyptic series from Jesse Alexander (Lost, Alias, Heroes) has been picked up for next falls NBC schedule.
The official synopsis:
In the aftermath of a global event that devastates the world’s infrastructures, a small band of survivors strives to rebuild society and unravel the mysteries of why the event took place and what the future has in store. Told from the point of view of an eclectic group of neighbors in a Van Nuys, California apartment building, this journey of survival will show us that hope is found in the smallest of victories and heroes are born every day. The series stars Adam Campbell (“Date Movie”), Catherine Dent (“The Shield”), Julie Gonzalo (“Eli Stone”), David Lyons (“ER”), Derek Mio (“Greek”), Carly Pope (“24″), Thekla Reuten (“Sleeper Cell”) and Addison Timlin (“Cashmere Mafia”)
Has potential I think. Something about that communal apartment building idea that intrigues me. I will be watching.
Here’s a few videos of behind the scenes etc, that will fill you in on more of the good juice.

A sci-fi show on a network, on NBC no less? It’ll be canceled by the time it takes to finish reading this sentence.
It’s Jericho People. Its even filmed in the same place.
I hope its just as good. its suppost to Premeire after the Olympics so it will average probably 12 million the first episode
Why don’t they just…. continue Jericho?
