All You Need Is Kill Is GroundHog Day With Lots Of Shooting

In this Warner Bros. purchased script by Dante Harper, based on the book by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, love is no longer all you need. For one soldier, killing is everything when everyday you get dead and wake up in the morning alive and have to do the whole thing again.

The Robot Chicken Guys to Work On A Star Wars Comedy

Now I’m pretty sure this is not a late April Fools joke. Pretty sure. Mostly sure. I mean it’s the 5th right? I’ll forge ahead. Seth Green and Matthew Senreich are reportedly working on a “Star Wars” based comedy with the blessing of Sir George himself. This is really confusing. Could George have stopped taking himself so seriously?

Crazy Person Behind Epic Star Wars Episode 1 Review Returns To Destroy Episode 2

We’ve been waiting for it and now it’s here. Mr. Plinkett, the deranged but brilliant alter-ego of Milwakee film maker Mike Stoklasa returns to bring us an 88 minute utter dismantling of “Attack Of The Clones”. I knew Attack was bad (I frowned through the whole thing), but now I know just how bad it was. I remember how badly I wanted to like it after the “Phantom Menace” disaster. I would have grasped at anything at all good in the thing but there wasn’t a shred of the first three movies in first two prequels.

Sylvain White is Interested in Directing Robotech

If, you know, the film actually gets made and the studio offers the directing gig to him, then director Sylvain White may sign on to direct. Maybe.

In any case, here’s what White has to say on the project when the boys at IESB (via SciFiWire) cornered him at WonderCon over the weekend:

Stargate: Universe Recap 1.11 Space

As we return to the stranded humans aboard the Destiny after a long hiatus, one thing is clear to me. The budget went up. Cash flow was evident all over the joint in Space, our first episode of the, let’s call it Spring Season. The extra cash was needed because the Sci-Fi game was seriously upped. Universe has returned and it’s on steroids. We’ve got blue transparent old school aliens, wicked space battles with lots of pew pew and a ton of nifty science fiction accessories like inviso-wall HUDS and a much more believable spacey feel. The Destiny doesn’t feel like a WW2 battleship anymore. Now it feels like a real spaceship on a mission.

Voltron Update: No Script, No Director, Back in Development Hell

The boys at Coming Attractions got the chance to visit World Event Productions, the home office of the “Voltron” movie, and came away with some news about the upcoming film. In short, it’s still in development, but there have been some major changes since last we heard.

Some Extended Iron Man 2 Footage Showcases Easy Off Armour

“Iron Man 2″ approaches and so therefore does the relentless onslaught of footage and promo madness. I seem to be a willing collaborator. With scenes this cool, I’m on the team.

First Trailer for Vincenzo Natali’s Splice

Via MSN, here’s you first trailer for Vincenzo Natali’s “Splice”. It’s amazing that it’s taken this long for the trailer to finally show up, as it seems like I’ve been reporting on this movie forever. We even already have a review for it already online here.

Stargate Universe Returns Tonight with Episode 1.11 Space

After a long hiatus, the SyFy Channel’s most talked about new show “Stargate Universe” returns with its mid-season premiere tonight with the episode “Space”, which finds Col. Young, among other things, dealing with the repercussions of, shall we say, bitch slapping Rush around in the last episode.

Iron Man 2 Is Gold Accompanied With Handsome New Pics

Jon Favreau has twittered that “Iron Man 2″ has gone gold or has been signed, sealed and delivered to the studio man, seen rubbing his hands together so vigorously that he might catch on fire.

Future Episodes OF Stargate Universe To Feature Bra Cameras :EXCLUSIVE

Well, thanks to an anonymous tipster who will be forever near and dear to my heart, we’ve got the exclusive word that starting tomorrow night, future episodes of Stargate Universe will take the controversial step and affix a Kino style camera from the point of view of various female cleavages.

Alex Pettyfer Will be Number Four for Michael Bay

I’m not number four, he’s number four. Who is number four? Alex Pettyfer is number four. Yup, the pretty boy British actor, who got ugly to play his first American movie “Beastly”, is currently in negotiations to star in the Michael Bay-produced sci-fi actioner “I am Number Four”.

Paul Greengrass to Team with Producer James Cameron on Fantastic Voyage

Quick, Paul Greengrass needs a hit! After throwing a big pile of stink on the box office with his $100 million dollar flop “Jason Bourne in Iraq” movie “Green Zone”, director Paul Greengrass needs a hit, and the very commercial (and perhaps even shaky-cam proof) remake of “Fantastic Voyage” is just what the doctor ordered.

Get a Close Up Glimpse Of Alien Head From StarGate Universe

From the years and oh my god years of programming I’ve been subjected to from the completely ridiculous number of episodes of various Star Trek shows I’ve watched, I was not prepared for the close up glimpse of the oncoming aliens in the second half of season one of Stargate: Universe.

Will Smith Back for Independence Day Sequels?

And not just one measly sequel, too, but two. Or at least that’s the word from IESB, who says the deal is all but done for Smith to come back to one of the first movies that made him a bankable star, presumably as fighter jock Captain Steven Hiller, the character he played in the first one.
